Hi,
Thanks for looking at my photographs. I live in Eyemouth on the East coast in the Scottish Borders - very close to England. Most of my photographs are taken in the Scottish Borders where there is an abundance of beautiful scenery and a variety of wildlife to photograph. I work full time in I.T. and photography is just one of a few hobbies I enjoy.
I gained my ARPS distinction with the Royal Photographic Society in 1986 then gave up photography for 10 years in 1990. My interest was rekindled in 2000 when I purchased my first 2 mega pixel digital camera. I've been hooked ever since!
I use Canon cameras and mostly L series lenses and know that if I fail to capture an image it's my own fault, nothing to do with the equipment. I'm reasonably skilful with Adobe Photoshop and for me, the end justifies the means when it comes to producing an image.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the images on display, please contact me by email. Many of these photographs will enlarge to A3 and beyond with some of the panoramic images having been printed at 36 to 40" wide (several hi-res images combined). Now shooting with a Canon 5D MK11, large images are the norm.
